Develop Your Own Talent Pipeline.
Are you struggling to fill your talent pipeline? Then an internship program may be a great solution for your business. BVEP, in partnership with the Idaho Department of Labor, is putting on an internship workshop on June 29 at the University of Idaho Water Center. Below is an outline of the day, speakers and topics that will be covered.
Breakout Session Topics:
- How to build an internship program from scratch (who should lead it, how much time does it take, what systems/tools do you ned, other considerations, etc)
- Working with Universities to find and hire interns
- How to create a meaningful experience, during and after the internship
- How to manage millennial interns
- The logistics (forms, processes, onboarding, etc)
- The legal aspects of internships
