Morning Celebration for National Night Out
WHO:
Local community officials, Meridian Police and Firefighters,
Meridian Police Department K-9 Division, seniors and invited guests
WHAT:
National Night Out is a day of community building to promote police-
community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Touchmark
begins the day with their “National Morning Out” celebration.
8 a.m. – Breakfast at the Touchmark Arbor Lane Park
8:15 a.m. – Parade including Touchmark residents with decorated golf carts, cars and bicycles; Meridian Fire trucks, and Meridian Police patrol cars.
8:30 – 9 a.m. – Meridian Police Department K-9 Division demonstration, tips from Senior Fraud Detective Craig Fawley
9:30 – 10 a.m. – Touchmark staff pie-eating contest and dunk tank featuring Touchmark Executive Director Matt Hoskin and Life Enrichment/Wellness Director Jim Johnson.
Featured guests: Representatives from the City of Meridian Police Department and Meridian Fire Department.
