Event Description:
The Rescued Film Project is an immense archive of images that were captured on film from as early as the 1930s to present day. Each image in the archive was rescued from film found in locations all over the world. Every roll of film rescued has been orphaned from its photographer, meaning there is almost no information about most of the images. Each image preserves the photographer's personal experiences, forever marking their existence in history. The opening reception is March 15, 6:00-9:00 pm at Gem Center for the Arts.
