The Meridian Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is an annual community tradition that brings together civic, business, and faith leaders from across the city for a meaningful morning of reflection, connection, and prayer.
Modeled after the National Prayer Breakfast and Idaho State Prayer Breakfast, this event provides a space for the Meridian community to gather in a spirit of unity and shared purpose. Local clergy lead a time of prayer at each table, and attendees are invited to reflect on the values that guide and strengthen our city.
Originally hosted by the Meridian Chamber of Commerce and now presented in partnership with the Meridian Ministerial Fellowship, this event has seen steady growth in attendance and impact. What began with just 150 attendees has grown into a beloved gathering of over 200 participants annually.
The Prayer Breakfast serves as a time to support the spiritual life, moral values, and community leadership that shape Meridian’s identity. With prayers for our leaders, families, and the future of our city, the event is a powerful reminder of what unites us.
This is a non-denominational, inclusive event, open to everyone who wishes to join in reflection, prayer, and fellowship with others who care deeply about the future of our community.
