Fill the G.A.P. — GROW: Values & Self-Awareness

 
Kick off this year’s Women in Leadership series by exploring the “G” in Fill the G.A.P.: GROW. In this highly interactive workshop, participants will uncover the powerful connection between personal values, self-awareness, and intentional leadership. Using The Live Your Values Deck, you’ll engage in a guided card-sort experience designed to help you identify what truly matters most, and how those values can shape your focus, energy, and decision-making.
 
Together, we’ll move through four meaningful stages of discovery:
 

1. Introduction to Values & the Deck: Begin with a high-level overview of what values are, why they matter, and how The Live Your Values Deck will guide our exploration throughout the session.

2. Identify Your Personal Core Values: Use a hands-on card sort to pinpoint the values that anchor your leadership and your life.

3. Assess Your Current Reality: Reflect on how well your daily choices, relationships, and health align with those core values.

4. Lead & Decide with Intention: Learn a simple, actionable approach for making decisions grounded in what matters most.

 
You’ll walk away with increased self-awareness, practical tools, and renewed clarity, ready to grow with purpose and set the tone for a powerful year of leadership development.

Ann Smith is the founder of Guide & Grow Consulting and a seasoned talent development leader with decades of experience across services, technology, manufacturing, and non‑profit sectors, including work with Micron, Microsoft, and J.R. Simplot. She partners with organizations to assess, design, and facilitate talent solutions to help individuals, teams, and organizations perform at their best, especially during times of change.
