Meridian Symphony Presents "How 'Suite It Is"
Meridian Symphony presents “How ‘Suite’ It Is” 7:30 p.m. March 7, Centennial Performing Arts Center, 12400 W. McMillan Road. Featuring excerpts from famous orchestral suites including Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Gliere’s The Red Poppy, Stravinsky’s The Firebird, Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks and Copland’s Appalachian Spring, with artistic director Jim Ogle conducting. Special guest Tom Phelps, former artistic director, conducts selections from Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite as part of the Symphony’s 30th anniversary celebration.
