Scott Esplin Memorial Foundation

Scott Esplin lived his life with a passion to help others find their success, especially through coaching and mentoring student athletes. He attended the University of Idaho and was a triple jumper for the Track and Field team. Since he did not have an athletic scholarship, he had to work multiple jobs each summer to raise enough money to pay for college.

To honor his life, the Scott Esplin Memorial Foundation was established to provide financial assistance to high school athletes who want to pursue their dreams of competing in collegiate track and field. The scholarship fund focuses on Track and Field athletes that did not receive a full-ride scholarship. The goal is to ease the financial burden on student athletes so they can focus their time on school and competing in the sport they love instead of worrying about paying for college expenses.

Scholarships are given out to Idaho students based on athletic accomplishments, academic success, and personal character.
