Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Valley matches active seniors with seniors who need help to remain living independently. We're seeking the best In-Home Non-Medical Senior Caregivers in the Treasure Valley.
We offer flexible hours. Whether you want to work less than 8 hours a week or up to 32 hours, we are here to support your work-life balance by giving you an opportunity to help other seniors while earning income and maintaining your lifestyle and hobbies. Qualifications:
- An older adult with 40+ years of life experience
- Driver's license and insured auto (our clients are not accessible by public transportation)
- Cell phone
- Personal email account and ability to send/receive emails
- Conversational English fluency
- Weekend availability a plus (in addition to weekdays)
- Enjoy working with our senior population
- Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate, and reliable individual
- Understand the importance of our services to our seniors
- Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Valley mission
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Valley
- Be proactive in finding other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed
- Provide Companionship
- Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, wash dishes, etc…
- Shopping and Errands
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Pet Care
- Light Yard Work
- Light Handyman Services
- Overnight Supervision
- Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, shopping, miscellaneous activities, or their favorite restaurant
Personal Care Duties may include:
- Assist with Dressing
- Assist with Feeding
- Assist with Showering / Bathing
- Mobility Assistance
- Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
- Memory Care
- Arrive on Time for all Services
- Maintain documentation of all services provided
- Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
- Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
- Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
- Clock in and out using our care management system
- Starting wage of $16 per hour
- Paid training for newly hired employees - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Flexible schedules from 8 hours up to 32 hours per week
